Visa exempt countries
- For citizens of Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, Cambodia, a visa exemption is valid for up to 30 days.

Two ways to obtain Vietnam visa
Vietnam visa obtained from Vietnam Embassy or Consulate office
The general visitor visa is valid for 30 days and can be extended if required. Please contact Vietnam Embassy or Consulate office in your country one month at the latest prior to your scheduled arrival date.
Visa on arrival
An approval letter issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department will be arranged by the Organizing Committee and sent to you before your travelling. Please send the Organizing Committee required documents to apply for this letter. Upon arrival at international airport in Vietnam, you will take a copy of the letter + your original passport + 1 immigration form + 2 photos + visa stamp fee (paid by applicants at the arrival airport’s Immigration desk) to get visa stamped on your passport.
